I got asked a very interesting question. How do you go about resetting the admin password in CQ5.5 or CQ5.6 if it has been forgotten?
In CQ5.4, you can go and edit an XML file and reset it to the default admin/admin, but it seems as though in the latter versions, this has changed.
I have checked at what differs when changing the admin u/p, and it only seems to be JCR nodes that are altered.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this in the newer versions?
